NVIDIA nFORCE2 AGP Host to PCI Bridge
Seeing as how between the three instances that I now know of, the issue lies with two different motherboards and both K II based cards, it’s a chipset problem. I had the same graphics card and os on my old pc and had never problems with it.

NVIDIA nForce2 AGP Host to PCI Bridge, how do I free up the resources?
nforcf2 Since this appears to affect different makes of graphics card I would hope it is a driver compatibility issue, not physical. Tried different grfx cards. Have tried a fresh install of windows 2k then installing the latest graphics drivers before using the Nforce II drivers, but it still shows an error on the standard PCI-AGP bridge. Private Message – Add to Buddy List. Hoping someone can help.
Uninstall the motherboard drivers and re install them. Kyro II Have not been able to resolve this yet.

Don’t know where to go from here. When I remove the offending device the bridge and refresh device manager the card is detected but driver install fails with a message about ‘missing section in inf file’. At first I thought it was a duff W2K install but further investigation has pointed to a hardware conflict. I checked this site and the information is brilliant but the card is listed as AGP4 according to this site – http: Anonymous Oct 30,7: But honestly, Nforcd2 htink that they just aren’t going to be compatible, and I don’t know how hot nVidia is going to be to fix an issue with a two year old competitors card.
